WELCOME TO MONKEYS MYSTERIES

Thank you for taking the time to explore this project and review our very first book.

Monkey's Mysteries was created around a simple but important idea: The more children understand dogs, the better friends they can become.

Our mission is to develop an engaging, educational series for children ages 3–13 that teaches them how dogs experience the world, how they communicate, and how their needs and behaviors differ from our own.

Children naturally love dogs, but affection doesn't always come with understanding. A child may pull a dog's tail, tug on its ears, or approach a frightened dog without realizing what the dog is trying to communicate. These misunderstandings can sometimes lead to frightening encounters or preventable injuries.

We believe education can help change that.

Through colorful illustrations, lovable recurring characters, storytelling, and interactive activities, Monkey's Mysteries introduces children to the fascinating world of dogs in ways appropriate for their age and development.

The journey begins with The Why Files, where our youngest readers explore the questions curious children naturally ask: Why do dogs have tails? Why do they sniff everything? Why can they hear things we cannot? What makes dogs different from us?

As children grow, their adventures expand into detective-style mysteries, where they investigate clues, explore canine body language and behavior, solve problems, and put their growing knowledge to work.

Throughout the series, Monkey the Detective and his butterfly companion, Ruby Jane, guide children toward discovery, encouraging curiosity, observation, kindness, and respect.

Our first book, What Makes My Dog Daisy So Amazing?, is designed for children ages 3–5. It introduces the foundations of understanding dogs through the adventures of Summer, her dog Daisy, Monkey, and Ruby Jane.

Our larger vision is to turn a child's natural curiosity about dogs into a lifelong foundation of understanding, empathy, and safer interactions.
